mini goodness

Would you believe it?  I got some things done!  I have posted iPod covers in my shop.  So far there are just 5 listed, but there are others already cut out that are just waiting to be finished.  I have also added 2 mini wallets where there are also a couple waiting in the finish pile.

I feel the urge to be productive returning.  It is good. 

free time, where art thou?

As mention in a post back in June, I had a position change at my job.  I went from a part timer scheduled near full time hours to a full timer properly scheduled full time hours.  With that came morning shifts, which I didn’t do before, and they are kicking my butt.  I suppose that may not be fair to the morning shift, I do so love getting out of work while the sun is still out…  I guess what’s really getting me is that I don’t have a fixed shift.  If I did all mornings, like how I used to do all nights, that’d be great.  Instead I go from opening, to a mid, to opening, close, then a opening shift… something to that effect.  Factor in basic day to day personal maintenance what little social life I may have… It’s wreaking havoc on my productivity!

So I’m sorry to anyone who may actually have been wondering what is up, why I haven’t been posting.  I still very much want to make iPod covers… and I’m thinking of taking photos of some of the fabrics I have and making choose your fabric listings on Etsy.

I hope I find a balance soon.
